Knowing when to stop

This evening I embarked on further drawings of trees and strange creatures. After a completed work depicting an exchange of a shrunken head/mask/trinket, my girlfriend feoa suggested I carry on the forest motif, only this time incorporating a soaring bird over treetops. A few mountains thrown in wouldn't hurt, I told myself...

As we can all agree, hindsight has perfect vision, and I now strongly feel that I should have headed her words. Trees and a bird is fine, or perhaps mountains and a bird.......but all 3 would be excessive. I should have heeded, but the thought of including these 3 personal saints of drawing material in the same work proved too dominant. A few minutes with Paint has shown me the error of my foibles.....or is that the case? I will let you decide.

Either way, both are available for purchasing, though option 2 would require scissors and glue. Check out my flickr page for more info. What's the address, you don't ask? Here it be:

Till next time, farewell
